We are seeking a Research Fellow (Level A, research-only) to join the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology within the Monash Biomedicine Discovery Institute (BDI), one of Australia's largest and most dynamic biomedical research environments.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research investigating the structure and molecular mechanisms of mitochondrial and photosynthetic complexes. You will work with advanced structural biology and imaging technologies, including single particle cryogenic electron microscopy (cryoEM), cryogenic electron tomography (cryoET), and cryogenic plasma focused ion beam scanning electron microscopy (FIB-SEM), alongside a broad range of biochemical and biophysical techniques.
Working under the supervision of a Senior Lecturer, you will be embedded in a collaborative research team and supported to further develop your research skills, contribute to publications and presentations, and build your academic research profile.
