Research Fellow On Cryptography

SPMS is a school under NTU College of Science. Our school is organized into two divisions: the Division of Mathematical Sciences and the Division of Physics and Applied Physics. We are home to internationally-renowned research groups pursuing cutting-edge research in a diverse range of topics in the mathematical sciences, physics, and related disciplines.

We are looking for a research fellow on cryptography to complete the research project “Cryptographic Algorithms for Side-Channel-Resilient Private Communications Beyond Authenticated Encryption”.

Key responsibilities:

1. The candidate will conduct research on cryptography.
2. The candidate will help preparing reports and presentations for the project.
3. The candidate will publish relevant results to cryptography conferences/journals.

Job requirements:

• PhD in Mathematics and/or Electronics and/or Computer Science.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong initiatives.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Expertise in symmetric key security proofs.
• Expertise in symmetric cryptanalysis/design is a strong plus.
