The UCL Institute of Health Informatics (IHI) was established in August 2014 within the Faculty of Population Health Sciences. Our mission is to conduct high-quality, data-intensive research to improve health outcomes locally, nationally, and globally.
IHI delivers one of the UK's largest and most highly regarded teaching programmes in health informatics and health data science. We are also proud to host one of the four UKRI Centres for Doctoral Training in AI in Healthcare, supporting the next generation of leaders in the field.
The Faculty of Population Health Sciences is UCL's largest research-based faculty, comprising eight institutes dedicated to advancing health through innovative research and education.
About the Role
We're looking for a Research Fellow to join our team and help shape the future of health informatics. You will play a key role in developing and implementing geographic health data science projects, producing data-driven maps and narratives that provide clear insights into the health of communities at local and regional levels. You'll work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, contributing to high-quality research and publications that makes a difference.
This is a full-time post (36.5 hours/week), funded until 31 July 2027, with the possibility of extension.
