The School of Biological Sciences is looking for a Research Fellow to join a dynamic ARC-funded Discovery Project exploring how plants adapt to extreme environments. This is an exciting opportunity to build your research career while contributing to breakthrough science that could transform plant resilience.
You will work within the Plant Energy and Biotechnology Research Group to identify structural and molecular means by which plants regulate stress responses through the examination of a newly discovered protein that controls photoprotection in grasses, some of the most resilient plants.
As the successful candidate you will have experience in cloning, plant genetic transformation, analysis of DNA, RNA and protein samples, protein structure analysis, and using a variety of spectroscopic methods for studying plant photosynthesis.
If you would like to shape the future of plant stress biology with cutting-edge research, then apply today!
