Research Fellow Position

Centre for Advanced Robotics Technology Innovation (CARTIN) is looking for a candidate to join them as a Research Fellow. Key responsibilities include carrying out literature research on STOA of mission decomposition, developing an efficient modeling framework that can capture a variety of operational requirements and uncertain operational environment, developing an efficient mission analysis and decomposition method, applying the developed modeling and decomposition methods in a simulation testbed, publishing research results in reputable journals and conferences (in particular, ICRA), and assisting project PI to coach research students.

Job requirements include a PhD degree in relevant fields with past research foci on formal methods, modeling and analysis of complex operations under uncertain environment, a strong publication record in relevant fields, knowledge in modeling, simulation, and analysis of sea operations is a plus, and proficiency in English is essential to conduct research.
