We're seeking a passionate Research Fellow/Senior Research Officer to help shape the future of biomedical imaging. This is a unique opportunity to grow your research profile while contributing to a collaborative international project focused on developing a microendoscopy imaging platform using multimode optical fibre.
You'll be part of the dynamic Photonics Group, working alongside leading researchers and global partners from the University of Adelaide, IPHT Jena (Germany), and ISI CAS Brno (Czech Republic). In addition to research, you'll contribute to service and engagement activities within the group.
Key responsibilities will include:
Research: Establish a research program, collaborate on research projects, seek and manage research funding, publish in reputable journals, utilize best practice research methodologies, and participate in project discussions.
Teaching: Where undergraduate and postgraduate teaching is undertaken achieve teaching quality as indicated by approved surveys and outcomes for students and improve or innovate where appropriate in response to feedback.
Supervision and Researcher Development: Supervise students, recruit and manage employees, provide performance feedback and training, resolve conflicts, and ensure correct remuneration and benefits.
Citizenship and Service: Develop partnerships, demonstrate leadership through mentoring, engage in internal service roles and committees, perform administrative functions, provide support to colleagues, and uphold university values.
