Research Officer, Animal Cell Bioprocessing (BTI)

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Officer to join our Animal Cell Bioprocessing team. The successful candidate will contribute to research activities focused on mammalian cell culture and bioprocess development. Key responsibilities include:

• Testing media formulations for mammalian cell growth and biologics production
• Characterizing cell clones based on growth profiles, nutrient consumption and recombinant protein production
• Setting up and operating mammalian cell bioreactors
• Supporting routine laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance, inventory management of lab consumables, lab safety compliance, and general housekeeping

Requirements:

• A Bachelor degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Engineering, or relevant disciplines
• Familiar with aseptic and mammalian cell culture techniques
• Prior experience in relevant fields is not a requirement but an advantage
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and able to work independently after training
• Team player with good interpersonal skills
• Good spoken and written communication skills
