The Research Coordinator will work closely with the Associate Director of the Woolfolk Center to establish and maintain a collaborative research team across several testing sites. Key responsibilities of this position include developing and managing proposals for the Institutional Review Board regarding human subjects research, creating project and team schedules, overseeing project budgets, preparing funding proposals, and ensuring the smooth operation of the center. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong attention to detail, effective decision-making and critical thinking skills, excellent communication abilities, a proactive approach, strong interpersonal skills, and adept problem-solving capabilities.
This is a 2 year position with continuation dependent on funding.
To coordinate the daily operations of the research projects at the Woolfolk Center for Language Disorders Research.
Support the Associate Director in day-to-day coordination and communication regarding program activities.
Manage the calendars for the research program – including scheduling and communicating with research staff and participants for research activities.
Maintain research records and ensure fidelity of data collection using REDCap and other systems.
Assist in generating and maintaining data files for analysis.
Assist in the development and submission of proposals and revisions to the Institutional Review Board (IRB).
Coordinate participant recruitment by engaging with families and community partners to enhance recruitment efforts and maintain lasting relationships with participants.
Assist with fiscal management of the center including budgeting, reimbursements, and processing payments.
Bachelor's degree and three years of experience coordinating or administering a research and/or clinical program or Master's degree and 1 year of experience coordinating or administering such a program.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Experience coordinating a research project

Strong organizational and project management skills
Training in the field of speech-language pathology
$50,000+ depending on qualifications
Monday – Friday 8-5. Occasional weekend evening work for community events for recruitment
