Research Scientist

Jinan-NTU Green Technology Research Institute (GreenTRI) was established to focus on international collaborations in digital technologies and GreenTech.

GreenTRI is looking for a motivated Research Scientist to conduct research and develop AI models leveraging deep learning and data analysis for carbon measurement, route optimization, and sustainable logistics, enabling improved carbon management and forecasting of logistics efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research on deep learning applications for human gait assessment, disease prediction, and person re-identification.
• Develop AI models for large-scale human skeleton, video or language data analysis to enhance gait assessment and person re-identification.
• Apply time-series and spatial-temporal gait data mining to classify and monitor diseases, such as neurodegenerative diseases and diabetic neuropathy, supporting non-invasive and efficient healthcare applications across diverse scenarios.

Job Requirements:

• Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, or a related field.
• Proficient in gait analysis and human data mining, capable of representing, extracting, and interpreting complex data sets for disease prediction and other healthcare applications.
• Demonstrated strong capacity to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams on projects that emphasize AI for healthcare.
• Proven experience in high-level research, including publications in top-tier journals and conferences.
