About the Role:
The Brown Laboratory ( ) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Technician to support our cutting-edge research in immune regulation. The lab investigates mechanisms of immune tolerance across host-microbiota interactions, autoimmunity, cancer, and early-life immune development. Recent work from the lab has defined the cell types and mechanisms that instruct peripheral regulatory T cell development and tolerance to the gut microbiota.
Led by physician-scientist Dr. Chrysothemis Brown, the lab bridges mechanistic studies in experimental models with translational human immunology, collaborating closely with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) and the Hospital for Special Surgery. The Brown Lab is located in the state-of-the-art Zuckerman Research Center on the Tri-Institutional campus (MSK, Weill Cornell, and Rockefeller University) in New York City’s Upper East Side-an exceptional environment for scientific growth, collaboration, and career development.
This position is ideal for candidates who are interested in working 2 years prior to pursuing graduate or medical school, offering a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and mentorship in a leading immunology lab.
