The Zolkind Lab is a translational head and neck cancer lab investigating novel models of treatment resistance and therapeutic targets. This is a “bench-to-bedside” lab incorporating cell culture, mouse models and human tumor specimens. The lab operates closely with the Major and Goldfarb labs and provides a rich environment of education with weekly lab meetings and education seminars. There are numerous scientists, postdocs, and students in the lab and this provides ample opportunity to learn, grow, and develop new techniques and expertise in this position. Depending on candidate interest, there are also opportunities for clinical exposure in the clinic and operating room. Assists with the technical aspects of studies and experiments, including documentation and preparation of materials.

$16.92 – $26.44 / Hourly. The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
