The Research Technician II will support ongoing neuroscience research projects in Dr. Inoue's laboratory, with a focus on neural circuit imaging and development of advanced optical tools. Responsibilities will include assisting with routine experimental procedures, viral delivery, imaging data collection, and basic data analysis. Assists with the technical aspects of studies and experiments, including documentation and preparation of materials. Dr. Inoue's laboratory at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology investigates how neural circuits drive behavior using cutting-edge technologies, including near-infrared sensors and brain-wide imaging approaches. The lab combines protein engineering, systems neuroscience, and in vivo imaging to address fundamental questions in brain function and disease. This is a part-time, flexible position designed for approximately two days per week.
