There is a research opportunity in the laboratory of Tom Foutz, MD, PhD. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join our research team as part of the WashU Scalable Mouse Assay Center (WU-SMAC) consortium. This position focuses on characterizing epileptic activity across mouse models of neurodevelopmental and psychiatric conditions. Our laboratory evaluates how genetic mutations affect seizure susceptibility and epileptic phenotypes, exploring the intersection between epilepsy and neurodevelopmental disorders. Assists with the technical aspects of studies and experiments, including documentation and preparation of materials.
