As a Scientist Sterility Testing QC, you will be part of the Quality Control Microbiology team at the Visp site, supporting various QC projects with a focus on sterility testing and verification activities in a GMP environment. You will work in a dynamic, highly regulated environment and make an important contribution to the quality and safety of our products.

Your Tasks

• Participation in QC microbiology projects with a focus on sterility testing and verification
• Conducting verifications and routine sterility tests on drug products
• Recording, analyzing, and evaluating verification data
• Identifying and assessing weaknesses and planning, implementing, and monitoring corrective measures
• Creating verification plans, reports, and technical documentation
• Participating in method development and verification
• Supporting other departments with quality-related issues
• Participating in laboratory organization (e.g., material management, weekly lab cleaning)
• Actively supporting continuous improvement processes within QC microbiology

What We Are Looking For

• Completed degree in the natural sciences (BSc / MSc / PhD) with a focus on microbiology, biology, or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally in the field of microbiology/bioburden
• Experience with QC software systems such as MODA, LIMS, TrackWise, or similar systems is advantageous
• Experience with QC isolator systems and their qualification is desirable
• GMP knowledge is advantageous
• Experience in method development is advantageous
• Independent, reliable, and quality-conscious working style
• Enjoyment of working in a dynamic, regulated environment
• Very good German and English language skills
