The Discovery Research mRNA-tLNP department is seeking a driven and collaborative Research Scientist to join our dynamic mRNA group. Our team partners with multidisciplinary groups across AbbVie to develop therapeutic solutions for diverse disease areas, including immunology, oncology, and neurology.
As a key member of the mRNA team, you will independently lead mRNA production efforts with the support of other team members, contribute to RNA platform innovation, and deliver high-quality mRNA drug substances for various therapeutic applications. You will collaborate closely with scientists from multiple functional areas and therapeutic teams, manage both internal and external partnerships, and actively contribute to the advancement of AbbVie's mRNA capabilities.

Pay Range: $82500 – 157500 USD
Where We Work: Role is exclusively performed at a site or office and onsite presence is required. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
