Description Join our Molecular Biology Cloning and Tools R&D team and help advance groundbreaking molecular biology technologies that support global research. What Will You Do? Investigate, optimize, and develop new reagents and methods for DNA cloning. Execute research and lead product development projects from concept to delivery. Collaborate and communicate with local and global R&D partners to brainstorm solutions, share learnings, and provide project updates. Partner cross-functionally with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Project Management to support new product development. Innovate and provide scientific/technical justification for novel concepts and approaches. Anticipate potential risks and design preventative solutions. Conduct literature and patent research relevant to project activities. Maintain a high standard of documentation and communication, including drafting and executing protocols, writing reports, and preparing experimental summaries in support of product development. Support customers by troubleshooting issues, providing recommendations, and preparing short technical publications (e.g., Application Notes, Technical Notes) and presentations. Evaluate, purchase, maintain, and operate a range of analytical instruments and laboratory equipment. Mentor and train students and colleagues; provide guidance and support to the broader team.

Requirements Advanced degree + 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree + 5 years of experience, in molecular biology techniques, including: DNA/RNA handling, PCR, Nucleic acid quantification and analysis, DNA cloning/assembly, Cell biology techniques, basic protein analysis. Preferred fields of study: Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or a related life sciences field Strong understanding of experimental design, data analysis, and statistical methods Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions Strong documentation skills, including detailed lab notebooks and technical reports Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to diverse audiences Strong organizational skills and time management in a dynamic environment Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience in project leadership, cross-functional collaboration, mentoring young scientists, and coordinating team activities is a plus
