As part of the Product Development Science and Technology (PDS&T) organization, Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) leads the technology transfer, process performance qualification (PPQ), data trending, continuous process validation (CPV) and improvement for late stage and commercial manufacturing. Our mission is to support manufacturing and drive and implement improvement of processes and technologies for commercial drugs to meet quality, compliance, financial and innovation goals for the benefit of our patients. This scientist position will be primarily responsible for manufacturing batch record scanning, data review, and data transcription for continuous process verification and improvement, as well as assisting in biologic manufacturing troubleshooting.
• Scan, review, and transcribe manufacturing batch records for data accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with report writing and data review.
• Support continuous process verification and improvement initiatives.
• Assist with troubleshooting in biologics manufacturing processes.
• Support activities related to PPQ, and commercial manufacturing as required.
• BS degree in a scientific or engineering discipline with 2-4 years related industry experience, or MS degree with 0-2 years related industry experiences
• Fundamental understanding of scientific/engineering principles relevant to biomanufacturing tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective collaboration skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Results-driven work ethic with a proactive, positive attitude.
• Self-motivated with a sense of urgency to achieve objectives.
In some cases, an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.
• Prior biopharmaceutical industry experience within relevant scientific discipline.
• Experience supporting GMP manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of biological product process development and technology transfer.

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $27.41–$42.00.
