The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) trains doctors who put patients at the centre of their exemplary care. The School, which offers both undergraduate and graduate programmes, is named after local philanthropist Tan Sri Dato Lee Kong Chian. Established in 2010 by Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in partnership with Imperial College London, LKCMedicine aims to be a model for innovative medical education and a centre for transformative research. The School's primary clinical partner is the National Healthcare Group, a leader in public healthcare recognised for the quality of its medical expertise, facilities and teaching. The School is transitioning to an NTU medical school ahead of the 2028 successful conclusion of the NTU-Imperial partnership to set up a Joint Medical School. In August 2024, we welcomed our first intake of the NTU MBBS programme, that has been recently enhanced to include themes like precision medicine and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare, with an expanded scope in the medical humanities. Graduates from the five-year undergraduate medical degree programme will have a strong understanding of the scientific basis of medicine, with an emphasis on technology, data science and the humanities.

NTU is a leading global university renowned for its excellence in education, research, and innovation. The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) is an integral part of NTU which aims to foster the development of future medical leaders and advance clinical research.

This role is responsible for supporting the planning and operating of the Academy of Clinician Scientists and Innovators (“Academy”), a joint centre between Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) of Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and National Healthcare Group (NHG Health). It aims to develop and offer programmes to attract talents towards advancing their academic clinical careers. This Centre will contribute to the School's mission as part of the Academic Health System with our clinical partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support in Academy's daily operations management.
• Coordinate training and mentorship programmes.
• Manage the Academy's databases, ensuring accuracy in records.
• Plan and execute Academy events and publicity activities.
• Maintain and enhance Academy website content.
• Publish bi-monthly Academy newsletters.
• Support in regular reporting for both LKCMedicine and NHG management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from LKCMedicine and NHG Health; and coordinate cross-functional partnerships.

Key Competencies and Requirements:

• Graduates from universities with at least 3 years of experience in administrative support in biomedical/clinical/academic environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience in project management, stakeholders management, events management and Excel tools such as V-lookup, Pivot Table etc., will be an added advantage.
• Able to work independently, perform under pressure and work effectively as a team.
• Good time management, able to multi-task and meet tight reporting deadlines in a fast-paced environment, without compromising quality of output.
• Numerically inclined, meticulous, proactive with good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.

This is a 2-year full time position.
