Position Summary

The Senior Manager, reporting to the Senior Director of US Medical Oncology, Melanoma, Breast, and Emerging Tumors, is responsible for developing and executing US Medical strategies and launch priorities for one or more tumor areas, including Melanoma, Breast, and Emerging Tumors. This role involves fostering cross-functional collaborations with key stakeholders, such as US Commercialization, Worldwide Medical, Clinical Development, and Publication teams, to ensure strategic alignment and support US market impact. They will also serve as part of the US Medical Promotional Review Team and will provide expertise in ensuring promotional materials are scientifically accurate, evidence-based, and compliant with US regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner on the development and execution of the US medical plan(s) for melanoma, breast, and emerging tumors, in alignment with US Commercial and WW Medical
• Provide strategic, scientific, and executional leadership while partnering with the integrated matrix team, including Medical, Commercial and Access organizations
• Develop/refine and implement key medical activities, including medical advisory boards, MSL resources and training, congresses, reactive content, and communication strategy, including publications
• Establish US Medical data generation strategies and collaborate with Medical Evidence Generation to oversee the execution of the Investigator Sponsored Research programs
• Collaborate within US Medical matrix teams to plan and deliver medical objectives
• Partner with US Commercial and Access organizations to integrate medical perspectives into the commercial strategy
• Develop and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with external thought leaders and scientific experts
• Collaborates with functional areas outside of medical
• Ensure US medical strategies, objectives and tactics are aligned across the medical matrix and integrated with the strategic brand plan
• Maintains therapeutic area and product knowledge through ongoing assessment of relevant published literature
• Critically review and provide solutions to complex promotional strategies
• Determine acceptability of data used to support promotional claims

Qualifications & Experience

• Advanced scientific degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, DNP)
• Prior pharmaceutical industry experience in medical affairs
• Highly organized and motivated individual
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Understanding of pharmaceutical drug development
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to execute and deliver results in a deadline-driven environment
• Estimated 20% travel (as applicable)

Princeton – NJ – US: $131,330 – $159,135

The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee's work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
