Job Title

This position involves executing process development activities to support project delivery in line with quality, timeline, and customer requirements. It includes designing and performing experimental work for route development, optimization, scale-up, and robustness improvement. The role also requires identifying and solving technical challenges during development and manufacturing support, preparing high-quality technical reports and documentation in compliance with Lonza standards, and communicating project progress, results, and risks effectively within cross-functional teams and to stakeholders.

Additionally, the role supports manufacturing, DSP, and tech transfer activities, including preparation of development and transfer documentation, participates in deviation investigations and CAPA activities as required, and ensures compliance with EHS, GMP, and 5S requirements in daily laboratory work.

Qualifications include a Master's or Ph.D. degree in Chemistry or related discipline, strong background in synthetic organic chemistry, solid experience in process development and/or scale-up within pharmaceutical or chemical industry, experience in Downstream Purification (DSP) projects is a strong advantage, good scientific problem-solving skills, strong attention to data quality and documentation, effective communication and presentation skills, and proficiency in written and spoken English; bilingual documentation capability is a plus.
