About the Position

As a Senior Scientist in the Early Phase Production Pilot Emile Roux (DSM-B), you will manage the transfer of USP processes developed by the Cell Culture Development department and participate in the re-internalization of externally developed processes. You will be responsible for conducting technical and GMP batches, while managing a team of 4 production technicians. Ready to start?

Main Responsibilities

• Manage the transfer of USP processes, participate in pre-transfer/transfer/post-production meetings, and ensure production constraints are addressed
• Conduct technical (FAM) and first GMP batches, contribute to GMP campaign completion in collaboration with the USP team. The role requires availability for on-call duties (overnight equipment process monitoring)
• Manage a team of 4 production technicians and serve as the process reference during production operations
• Write MBR/BR, transfer reports, and campaign reports in collaboration with the DSM-B process expert
• Conduct technological surveillance on cell culture techniques evolution and contribute to the investment plan
• Manage quality events (deviations, CAPA, CC) and participate in internal and external audits

About You

• Experience: Experience in the pharmaceutical industry in BPF environment, preferably in a biotech or aseptic manufacturing unit.
• Experience in process transfer

• Technical and relational skills: Skills in cell culture and biotech production processes, knowledge of BPF and quality focus, proficiency in office tools. Team spirit and sharing, rigor, autonomy, and organizational skills. Ability to work across functions in complex and changing environments with a results and operational excellence focus

• Education: Master’s degree or engineering diploma in biotechnology, process engineering, biochemistry, or related scientific field

• Languages: Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written

The salary range for this position is: €48,000.00 – €64,000

Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
