In this role as Senior Scientist at the Early Phase Production Pilot Emile Roux (DSM-B), you will manage the transfer of USP processes developed by the Cell Culture Development department and participate in the reinternalization of externally developed processes. You will be responsible for conducting technical and GMP batches, while managing a team of four production technicians. Ready to start?

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the transfer of USP processes, participating in pre-transfer/transfer/post-production meetings, and ensuring the consideration of production constraints
• Conducting technical (FAM) and first GMP batch, contributing to the achievement of GMP campaigns in collaboration with the USP team. The position requires availability for on-call duties (monitoring of process equipment outside of working hours)
• Managing a team of four production technicians and serving as the process reference during production operations
• Writing MBR/BR, transfer reports, and campaign reports in collaboration with the DSM-B process expert
• Conducting technological surveillance on the evolution of cell culture techniques and contributing to the investment plan
• Managing quality events (deviations, CAPA, CC) and participating in internal and external audits

About You

• Experience:
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a BPF environment, preferably in a biotech or aseptic manufacturing unit.
  • Experience in process transfer
• Technical and relational skills: Skills in cell culture and biotechnological production processes, knowledge of BPF and quality focus, mastery of office tools. Team spirit and sharing, rigor, autonomy, and organizational skills. Ability to work transversally in complex and changing environments with a results orientation and operational excellence
• Education: Master’s degree or engineer’s degree in biotechnology, process engineering, biochemistry, or related scientific field
• Languages: Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written
