Main responsibilities:

• Design and optimize oral formulations from preclinical through regulatory filing, including manufacturing processes from laboratory to industrial scale
• Lead or supervise laboratory trials and contribute to scale-up transfers to GMP Operations and Industrial Affairs
• Develop innovative automation solutions, particularly continuous manufacturing processes
• Manage cross-functional teams of technicians, coordinating study design, planning, execution, and results interpretation with high scientific rigor
• Write and supervise internal and external study documents (protocols, scientific reports, transfer reports)
• Collaborate effectively with Biopharmacy, Process Engineering, GMP Manufacturing, Analytics, and Chemistry teams to ensure project success
• Drive predictive modeling and advanced data analysis (DoE, advanced statistics) to optimize development processes

About you:

• Experience: Approximately 5 years in pharmaceutical development within the pharmaceutical industry, with expertise in solid oral dosage forms and associated equipment
• Technical skills: Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical engineering, process optimization, predictive modeling, and data analysis; familiarity with simulation tools, continuous processes, and automation technologies preferred
• Soft skills: Team-oriented with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Education: PHD, PharmD or Master's degree with specialization in formulation
• Languages: Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
