The Biologics Discovery Sciences group at AbbVie are seeking an accomplished scientist who will make substantial contributions to the conception, execution and communication of antibody discovery strategies in a highly collaborative environment. A primary responsibility of the successful candidate will be to develop and execute research strategies to enable the discovery and development of therapeutic antibodies for AbbVie's core therapeutics areas. They will be responsible for the design and execution of in vitro display technologies for lead antibody identification/optimization. In addition, it is expected that the candidate will utilize their expertise to generate internal and external collaborations as necessary to further program goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving antibody discovery programs within a multidisciplinary research group in an exciting, fast-paced team environment.

Role is exclusively performed at a site or office and onsite presence is required. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
