AbbVie's Immunology R&D organization is expanding its early discovery team to be split between the Cambridge Research Center in Cambridge, MA and the AbbVie Bioresearch Center in Worcester, MA. We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Scientist I to join our expanding immunology team in the area of respiratory diseases. This team is dedicated to building an in vivo group focused on uncovering the underlying mechanisms of airway diseases, paving the way for developing cutting-edge therapeutics.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with in vivo studies with a focus on murine models to investigate immune responses triggered by airway exposure to allergens. We are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled scientist with a passion for bench science and a collaborative mindset. Demonstrated experience working with animal models involving antigen exposure is required. Prior experience assessing lung physiology and working in drug discovery is not mandatory, but is considered highly valuable. Additionally, experience with in vitro respiratory model development is desired. We are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled, and dedicated individual. This position requires passion, attention to detail, prior hands-on experience, and teamwork.

Pay Range: $94000 – 178500 USD
Role is exclusively performed at a site or office and onsite presence is required. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
