We are seeking a highly motivated Specialist at the Junior, Assistant, or Associate level to join our team focused on investigating sleep and cardiovascular risk factors for Alzheimer's Disease and Alzheimer's Disease-Related Dementias (AD/ADRD). This position will involve managing, analyzing, and interpreting a wide variety of research data, including data from longitudinal population-based studies, clinical polysomnography, and electronic health records. Experience with multi-cohort data analyses, data harmonization, and machine learning is not required but is highly desirable. The analyst will collaborate closely with the rest of our research team, helping to prepare presentations and manuscripts focused on the link between sleep, other modifiable risk factors, and risk of AD/ADRD.
Required Qualifications: • Junior Specialist – Baccalaureate degree (or equivalent degree) or at least four years of research experience • Assistant Specialist – Master's degree or a baccalaureate degree with 3 or more years of research experience • Associate Specialist – Master's degree (or equivalent degree) or five to ten years of experience in the relevant specialization • Proficiency in statistical or coding software (e.g., R, Python). • Demonstrable intrinsic curiosity, self-driven attitude, and the ability to be a fast learner. • Exceptional communication skills. • Ability to effectively manage time and see assigned parts of projects through to completion on deadline. • Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team-oriented environment. • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications: • Experience working with machine learning and/or artificial intelligence techniques. • Prior research experience in sleep and neurodegenerative diseases. • Data harmonization
