We are looking for a highly motivated and independent staff scientist to support our efforts at the LEO Foundation Skin Immunology Research Center (SIC) commencing 1 May 2026.
LEO Foundation Skin Immunology Research Center (SIC) is dedicated to improve understanding, preventing and treating skin diseases affecting a quarter of the world's population. Anchored at the Department of Immunology and Microbiology (ISIM) at the University of Copenhagen, SIC brings together Danish and international researchers to explore and uncover the complex mechanisms behind skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, and other chronic skin disorders. Supported by the LEO Foundation, SIC uses cutting-edge technologies and collaborates closely with hospitals and research institutions to ensure that discoveries benefit patients worldwide.

The place of employment is at the Department of Immunology and Microbiology, University of Copenhagen. We offer creative and stimulating working conditions in dynamic and international research environment.
The average weekly working hours are 30 hours per week.
The position is a fixed-term position expiring on 31 December 2028.
Employment will be in accordance with the provisions of the collective agreement between the Danish Ministry of Taxation and AC (the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations). The monthly salary will be based on the number of years of work experience (seniority) with the possibility to negotiate a salary supplement based on prior experience and qualifications. The employer will pay an additional 18,07 % to your pension fund.
