Immediate opening for a scientist experienced in antibody development, immunization models and core laboratory operation to join current team. Position will require hands-on participation in all aspects of the core mission. Excellent communication skills are necessary for interactions with all academic ranks. Designs research protocols and assists in developing and conducting research projects, including experiment design, data analysis and documentation of experiment results. This is a service laboratory and provides detailed reports and invoices for individual projects.
The Hybridoma Center – Monoclonal Antibody Development Core is a small core laboratory that assists investigators in the generation of novel, functional monoclonal antibodies. This group provides consultation on and project design of Immunization protocols, guidance on multi-tiered screening strategies and executes hybridoma isolation and cryopreservation. This laboratory is nationally recognized for its expertise in antibody development, ability to customize programs for investigators and engage and support client investigators throughout all phases of each project.
