This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and skilled individual to join the team as our Teaching Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading an expanded team whose focus is on the delivery of high-quality support for all aspects of Teaching within our large and busy Department. As the Teaching Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our department. We are seeking applicants ideally with previous experience in teaching coordination roles, with excellent Microsoft Office skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and strong communication capabilities combined with good analytical skills, and reporting proficiency.
Working closely with the Department's Deputy Head of Department (Teaching) and General Manager (Departmental Administrator) ensuring policy translates into procedure, embedding administrative best practice in all areas, and supporting the department in responding to any change as it occurs. The role holder is expected to proactively line manage the Teaching team and the day-to-day activity of the office. They will have responsibility for the development of working practices, and for the development of individuals and the quality of the work that is delivered.
