The Walhout lab studies the interplay between metabolism and gene expression at a systems, or network, level. We seek a motivated post-doctoral fellow to study this using high-throughput omics methods, including RNA-seq and metabolomics. A strong background in genetics, genomics, metabolomics with solid analytical skills is required. Projects in C. elegans are available immediately, projects in other systems are under development and open for discussion.
