The aim is to assess which factors make amphibian and reptile species vulnerable to extinction. Applicants must have a PhD obtained in the last 7 years in a field related to the project. We are looking for a highly motivated researcher with a research background that includes Ecology, Conservation Biology and Amphibians & Reptiles. Requirements are the ability to analyze data and present results (in R language), familiarity with spatial analysis in GIS, and oral and written communication skills in English, as well as good teaching skills, as it is expected that the researcher, when necessary, will help to guide undergraduate and graduate students. Dedication of 40 hours per week is required. The duration is 12 months and the value of the scholarship is BRL 12,570.00 and a Technical Reserve equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the scholarship to cover unforeseen expenses directly related to the research activity.
