Metagenomic Plasmid Detection Workflows: Led the development of computational workflows for plasmid detection within complex metagenomic datasets sourced from extreme environments. My primary contribution involved designing and optimizing the bioinformatics pipeline, applying biostatistical analyses, and isolating mobile genetic elements to better understand microbial adaptation and resilience

Antarctic Microbial Diversity Research: Investigated microbial ecology and antibiotic resistance genes in extreme polar environments. My technical contribution focused on the comprehensive bioinformatic processing and interpretation of large-scale metagenomic datasets. By applying advanced computational methods, I helped map the genetic diversity and resistance mechanisms crucial to the survival of these specific microbial communities.

AgentX-AgentBeats Competition (UC Berkeley RDI): Contributed to an AI biosecurity initiative by developing a 'Green Agent' auditing framework designed to evaluate artificial intelligence agents for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) risks. My role centered on integrating multi-agent systems and stress-testing Large Language Models (LLMs) to identify, assess, and mitigate vulnerabilities in automated workflows.
