Contribution to Project (1)
Current research project consists of characterizing the evolution of allosteric regulation and its underlying conformational dynamics in bifunctional PFK/GK enzymes from Archaea, utilizing smFRET complemented by molecular dynamics simulations and classical enzyme kinetics analysis
Contribution to Project (2)
March 2020 – December 2021 | Research Assistant | Department of Biology, University of Chile Implemented remote computational capabilities for AMBER molecular dynamics simulations to maintain research continuity during the pandemic. Contributed to experimental design and data interpretation of simulations, regarding the relationship between enzyme catalysis and structural dynamics. Manuscript writing and figure making for two publications.
