The University of Copenhagen seeks to appoint an associate professor to the Department of Immunology and Microbiology to commence 1 October or as soon as possible thereafter.
The associate professor will lead a research programme focusing on growth, nutrition, and metabolic health across the life course in both paediatric and adult populations. The research should integrate clinical cohort studies and trials in cystic fibrosis, chronic lung disease, and global child health. Candidates should document extensive experience with real-world registry data, longitudinal cohorts, and randomized nutrition interventions.

Terms of employment The position is a permanent position. The average weekly working hours are 11 hours per week. Salary and other terms and conditions of appointment are set in accordance with the Agreement between the Ministry of Taxation and AC (Danish Confederation of Professional Associations) or other relevant professional organisations. The position is covered by the Job Structure for Academic Staff at Universities 2025.
