The Assistant Project Scientist will engage in significant and creative contributions to the research programs of the Vision Science Division under the supervision of David Williams, Ph.D. Specifically, they will be as scientist in photoreceptor cell biology. The appointee will be responsible for supervising and mentoring trainees, contributing to the planning and execution of current research projects, conducting data analysis, and preparing manuscripts and grant applications.
Basic qualifications:
Doctorate (M.D. or Ph.D.) in chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, or related field.
Additional qualifications:
Postdoctoral experience in vision science research.
