Associate Specialist Position – Yackle Lab
The Yackle Lab at UCSF is currently seeking an Associate Specialist. The responsibilities for the Associate Specialist position will be to design and conduct independent experiments, analyze data, publish research findings, and present results at research conferences. This position will require contributions to grant proposals, mentoring graduate students and other staff scientists, and engagement in scientific collaboration within UCSF.
Required Qualifications: Master's degree (or equivalent degree) or five to ten years of experience in the relevant specialization.
Preferred Qualifications: PhD degree in Neuroscience and 3 or more years of Postdoctoral Fellowship.
See Table 24B for the salary range for this position. A reasonable estimate for this position is $75,600-$88,000.
