Genethra is seeking a Therapeutic Discovery Scientist to support research programs across genetic disease, oncology, immunology, neurodegeneration, and metabolic disorders. This role helps translate biological insights into therapeutic strategies.

NOTE: Genethra is a subsidiary of BalanX Bio focused specifically on advancing biology-driven research and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify disease mechanisms, therapeutic targets, and intervention opportunities.
• Analyze literature, omics data, disease models, and clinical evidence.
• Support target prioritization using AI-generated hypotheses.
• Collaborate with gene therapy, immunology, oncology, and neuroscience teams.
• Help move discovery concepts toward preclinical validation.

Requirements

• Background in genetics, disease biology, pharmacology, immunology, oncology, neuroscience, or related field.
• Strong literature analysis and biological reasoning skills.
• Familiarity with therapeutic development is preferred.
• Ability to work across AI and experimental teams.
• Interest in translating research into real-world therapies.
