Lund University was founded in 1666 and is repeatedly ranked among the world's top universities. The University has around 46,000 students and 8,500 staff based in Lund, Helsingborg, and Malmö. We are united in our efforts to understand, explain, and improve our world and the human condition.
The Breast and Lung Cancer research group at the Department of Laboratory Medicine, within the Faculty of Medicine, conducts translational genomic research in breast and lung cancer and is currently at the forefront of its field. The group is actively engaged in, among other things, characterizing genomic alterations in breast cancer based on large-scale tumor sequencing data. The group is led by Senior Lecturer Johan Staaf and includes an additional five members. Our research is carried out in close collaboration with other research groups as well as with clinical partners within the healthcare system. We are now seeking a driven and experienced bioinformatician in cancer genomics to support our projects. As a workplace, we value a positive working environment characterized by respect and consideration in our interactions with one another.
