The Guerriero Laboratory in the Division of Breast Surgery in the Department of Surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (https://guerrierolab.bwh.harvard.edu/) and part of the Breast Tumor Immunology Laboratory at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute has an immediate opening for a postdoctoral fellow in an exciting new area at the frontier of cancer immunotherapy, funded through the Ludwig Foundation at Harvard. The project focuses on elucidating the role of myeloid cells and their interaction with T-cells in clinical breast cancer samples and evaluating novel myeloid-targeting therapies in preclinical models.
The successful candidate must have a PhD or equivalent in immunology with several years of relevant experience in immunology and oncology. They will be expected to carry out extensive analysis of the tumor microenvironment with a focus on the myeloid cell population. The ideal candidate should have excellent skills in multi-color flow cytometry, immunofluorescence, including multi-plex IF, growth and cytokine/effector assays, and breast cancer models. They should be highly motivated and organized with excellent time management skills.
