CD&A Data Scientist, Obesity – Associate – Hybrid
This role requires three days a week on-site.
The Data Scientist – Associate role within Commercial Data & Analytics (CD&A) is a hands-on analytics position supporting commercial strategy, performance measurement, and decision-making across Amgen's portfolio. Based in Thousand Oaks, this role will contribute to analytical projects that address commercial business questions and work closely with cross-functional partners to help deliver actionable insights.
This position is designed for an early-career data scientist who is eager to develop their technical capabilities, commercial understanding, and ability to communicate analytical findings. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of more experienced team members while taking ownership of clearly defined analyses and deliverables. The role does not have direct reports.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
OR
Associate's degree and 4 years of relevant experience,
OR
High school diploma/GED and 6 years of relevant experience

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
