The University of Texas at Austin's High School (UTHS) Special Purpose District provides programs and services to help high school students, teachers and families across Texas and the world. Support the implementation, growth, and continuous improvement of district programs through professional learning, instructional design, project implementation, marketing, and operational support. Collaborate with UTHS staff, educators, school districts, university partners, contractors, and internal stakeholders to strengthen program quality and drive data-informed continuous improvement.
Bachelor's degree in Education or a closely related field. Three years of successful experience as a K–12 classroom teacher or instructional professional. Experience designing and facilitating professional learning for educators in online, hybrid, or face-to-face settings. Experience designing instructional materials and online learning experiences using learning management systems such as Canvas and other educational technology tools. Demonstrated ability to implement multiple concurrent projects, manage changing priorities, and execute work according to established timelines. Strong written, verbal, presentation, collaboration, and customer service skills with the ability to work effectively with educators, district leaders, university partners, contractors, and other stakeholders. Experience using Microsoft 365, Excel, Google Workspace, learning management systems, survey tools, databases, and other educational technology platforms. Ability to organize and manage extensive digital files, instructional resources, and project materials. Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, communicate project status, and follow through on assigned responsibilities. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate
Master's or doctoral degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Instructional Technology, Educational Leadership, or a related field. More than three years of K–12 teaching experience. Experience designing and facilitating professional learning in one or more of the following areas: Advanced Placement, Gifted and Talented Education, Blended Learning, Project-Based Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Curriculum and Instruction, content-specific instruction, Online Learning, or Educational Technology. Experience presenting at conferences or educator institutes; coordinating large-scale professional learning programs, conferences, or institutes; developing online courses from subject matter expert content; and developing marketing and communication materials for educational programs. Experience using Qualtrics, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, AI-supported tools, registration systems, or CRM platforms. Knowledge of TEKS, adult learning best practices, Advanced Placement programs, Gifted and Talented education, and current K–12 instructional practices.
Typical 8 am – 5 pm work hours with hybrid in-person/remote schedule
