Would you like to play a key role in the development, planning and delivery of teaching for a new MSc in Nature and Landscape Management at the Department of Biology, Aarhus University? Are you interested in a position combining biological subject matter, administrative responsibilities and support for teaching activities? Are you motivated by developing case-based teaching related to terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems? And can you do so in close collaboration with private and public stakeholders and researchers in an inclusive international environment?
The Department of Biology and the Department of Geoscience are collaborating on a new one-year (75 ECTS) MSc programme where students with a BSc in Biology, Geoscience or Chemistry will gain a combination of subject-specific knowledge, training in interdisciplinary methods and understanding of institutional and legal frameworks related to nature and landscape management. This will enable them to address key societal challenges relating to nature, water, climate and land use.
We are seeking an Educational developer for a fixed-term appointment of three years. You will work closely with the academic staff at the Department of Biology, particularly Professor Signe Normand (Programme Director) and Associate Professor Tove Hedegaard Jørgensen (Vice-head of Department for Education). You will be affiliated a larger team of partners in the department's administrative office.
Expected Start Date and Duration: The anticipated start date is 1. November 2026, with the appointment ending on 31 October 2029, giving an expected duration of three years.
