Job Title

To learn to perform nerve conduction studies and electromyography, report results and assist in general running of lab and electrodiagnostic studies.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform general duties of copying, filing, fax and mailing of reports to appropriate individuals. Perform general upkeep of laboratory and equipment.
• Assist in performing nerve conduction studies routinely performed in the laboratory and assist in electrodiagnostic studies as required, under supervision of chief technician or director of laboratory.
• Report findings and calculate nerve conduction values.
• Perform quantitative sensory testing under supervision.
• Schedule patients for testing and bookkeeping i.e. (billing information, history).
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Salary Range

$16.40 – $23.70 / HourlyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
