Within our Analytical Services team, we have a functional service provider solution, which is a unique partnership that allows our customers to leverage the experience of our staff, while allowing you, the employee, to gain direct experience working onsite at a pharmaceutical/ biopharmaceutical company, all while maintaining full-time benefits.
Essential Functions:
• Performs a variety of routine to complex sample preparation and analysis procedures to quantitatively measure pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical compounds in a variety of formulations.
• Follows validated or experimental analytical procedures with periodic direct supervision.
• Responsible for review and compilation of results and data comparison against SOP acceptance criteria, methodology, protocol, and product specifications.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification.
• Experience equal to 2-4 years in a pharmaceutical lab.
In some cases, an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Possess working knowledge and/or experience in modern analytical techniques, including HPLC, GC and general wet chemistry.
• Organization skills for large sample/data sets. • Demonstrated organizational skills.
• Knowledge of applicable regulatory authority, compendia, and ICH guidelines.
• Have experience in pharmaceutical research and development or in providing analytical chemistry support.
• Working knowledge in a GxP environment is highly preferred.
• Have training in or will be trained in areas such as chromatographic methods, use of analytical tools and other pharmaceutical analysis.
• Familiar with peer review and verification practices.
• Have experience with MS Office.
• Have the ability to work effectively in team situations and to work independently as needed. Have the flexibility to succeed in a dynamic and changing environment.
• Have a firm command of the English language and excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to perform tasks.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Time management and project management skills.
• Problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work in a collaborative work environment with a team.

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Illinois is $30.14–$35.00.
