We are looking for a highly motivated and independent individual to support our efforts in translational molecular imaging to commence 15 August 2026.
Cluster for Molecular Imaging was established in 2004 by Professor Andreas Kjær to pursue translational molecular imaging research. The research is driven by unmet medical needs and includes all steps from molecule identification to evaluation in patients with a strong focus on the transfer of new methods into clinical practice. The research covers several disease areas including oncology, immune-oncology, cardiovascular diseases, and inflammatory diseases. The group has so far translated 5 PET tracers into the clinic.
Cluster for Molecular Imaging has access to all necessary facilities for molecular imaging, including preclinical and clinical imaging facilities, cyclotrons, and radiochemistry as well as laboratories for molecular biology, flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, and a cell laboratory.
The group currently consists of 40 researchers covering a wide range of disciplines, including medicine, pharmacy, chemistry, engineering, biology, molecular biology, and physics.
You will join a multidisciplinary research team working on translational molecular imaging and precision medicine approaches.
Your tasks will include the day-to-day coordination and management of research activities, people and infrastructure, as well as supporting ongoing projects within the group. You will contribute to the design, implementation, and execution of complex research initiatives, including studies involving clinical data, biological samples, and molecular analyses.
You are expected to support collaboration across teams and stakeholders, contribute to scientific dissemination, and assist in training and mentoring early-career researchers. The role includes involvement in developing and maintaining research structures, including data, analytical, and operational frameworks.

The average weekly working hours are 18.5 hours per week.
The position is a fixed-term position limited to a period of 3 years. The start date is 15 August 2026.
Employment will be in accordance with the provisions of the collective agreement between the Danish Ministry of Taxation and AC (the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations) as special consultant with the possibility to negotiate a salary supplement based on prior experience and qualifications. The employer will pay an additional 18.07 % to your pension fund.
