Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Research Fellow with expertise in stem cell biology to join our interdisciplinary research team. The successful candidate will contribute to cutting-edge projects involving pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs/ESCs), organoid models, and regenerative medicine applications.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and optimize protocols for stem cell culture, differentiation (e.g., neural, cardiac, or mesenchymal lineages), and genome editing (CRISPR/Cas9)
– Establish disease-relevant stem cell models (e.g., for neurodegenerative disorders, Immune diseases)
– Perform functional assays including flow cytometry, qPCR, immunofluorescence, and single-cell omics analysis
– Design and execute experiments to evaluate stem cell-based therapies in vitro and in vivo
– Analyze data, prepare manuscripts for high-impact journals, and present findings at conferences
– Collaborate with bioengineers and clinicians to translate research findings
Qualifications:
Essential:
– PhD in stem cell biology, developmental biology, biomedical sciences, or related field
– Strong hands-on experience with:
– Track record of first-author publications in reputable journals
– Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Preferred:
– Experience with 3D culture systems (organoids, biomaterial scaffolds)
– Knowledge of single-cell sequencing or bioinformatics analysis
– Background in disease modeling or preclinical studies
– Prior industry/academic experience in regenerative medicine
