The Software Systems Engineering group (SSE) undertakes world-leading research in several areas including Requirements Engineering, Program Analysis, Software Analytics, Software Fairness, Software Testing, Automated Program Repair, Search Based Software Engineering, Software Engineering for Artificial Intelligence, and Artificial Intelligence for Software Engineering.
The SSE group is looking to complement and strengthen its expertise by recruiting an outstanding researcher active in a broad area that covers Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence, and Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering. The Department of Computer Science (CS) of UCL is looking to appoint a Lecturer in Software Systems, Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering. This is a full-time permanent post at Grade 8 with a salary range £52,487-£61,534 inclusive of London Allowance per annum. The appointees will be based in the Software Systems Engineering (SSE) group within the UCL CS Department. A PhD in Computer Science, or closely relevant area, is essential for this position. The appointee must demonstrate a strong track record in high-quality research, as evidenced by publications in leading peer-reviewed journals and conferences, as well as other impactful research outputs in at least one of the subject areas, namely software engineering for artificial intelligence, artificial intelligence for software engineering, artificial intelligence and data engineering.
