We are looking for an enthusiastic mid-level computational research support specialist to help students, clinical users, and other researchers effectively use the Research Computing and Informatics Facility (RCIF) Center for High-Performance Computing (CHPC) infrastructure. The position will provide hands-on assistance with accessing CHPC resources, configuring computational environments, submitting and monitoring jobs, managing research data, and troubleshooting and optimizing scientific computing workflows.
The specialist will also support radiology studies, including AI-enabled research by assisting users with Jupyter notebooks, Python environments, and deep-learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow. Additional responsibilities may include guidance on DICOM and medical image processing workflows.
This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with cutting-edge AI tools and contribute to impactful medical research on the RCIF's CHPC infrastructure.
