The Institute for Accelerator Physics and Technology (IBPT) conducts research across a broad range of electron acceleration concepts, from large-scale accelerator infrastructures to compact laser-plasma accelerators. We develop and operate state-of-the-art accelerators and conduct research into innovative new approaches and next-generation technologies.
