Pilot Scientist for Purification at the Mammalian Pilot Plant (MPP), you will play a key role in planning and driving purification campaigns that support the development and scale-up of new biopharmaceutical products. As part of CMC Development & Scaling, Mammalian Pilot Plant develops, manufactures, and distributes drug candidates for clinical and developmental trials. Mammalian Pilot Plant includes pilot-scale facilities for cultivation and recovery of proteins at approximately 1000L scale. Our pharmaceutical production processes utilize mammalian cells, and the purified proteins produced in our facilities support clinical and developmental programmes.
The department consists of approximately 60 employees across four teams: Cultivation, Recovery, Purification, and Support. The Purification team operates in a dynamic pilot plant environment where we continuously improve our processes, implement new technologies, and strengthen the way we work together.
